In recognition of my ongoing contributions to the Oracle Community, I’ve received the Oracle Ace Pro certificate alongside some amazing gifts, all from the Oracle ACE Program. My expertise lies in Oracle Database Development, particularly in utilizing the best low-code tool, Oracle APEX. And I have been sharing my knowledge in these areas through blog posts and presentations at conferences.

What is the Oracle ACE Program?
The Oracle ACE Program is a program that recognizes, awards, and promotes members who have contributed immensely to the Oracle Community.

Your contributions will be shared on the Oracle ACE Newsletter as well as their LinkedIn and other corporate channels. This will inevitably boost your visibility and reputation, making you a preferred choice for customers looking for an Oracle developer.
You’ll be given a certificate by Oracle, recognizing you as a member of the Oracle ACE Program, alongside some amazing gifts.

Benefits of the Oracle ACE Program
The reputation and visibility you enjoy from being an Oracle ACE are just the first goodies of the program.
As a member of the Oracle ACE Program, you enjoy a host of benefits, including direct access to Oracle Product Management, Cloud accounts, certification credits, exclusive content, and more.
All of these ultimately set you apart from the regular Oracle App developer. By reason of your access to resources, you can provide even more advanced services to your clients, allowing you to charge and earn more.
Another benefit of being an Oracle ACE is that you will often be invited to give presentations at global Oracle conferences and networking events, both online and in person.
Oracle ACE Membership Tiers
There are three membership levels in the Oracle ACE Program:
- Oracle ACE Associate
- Oracle ACE Pro
- Oracle ACE Director
Each tier has more benefits than the one before it. As I mentioned, I am a certified Oracle ACE Pro.
The levels are determined by the amount of influence and contribution you’ve made to the Oracle Community. Oracle ACE Directors are those who have a long history of sharing knowledge in the community as well as consistently providing ideas and feedback to Oracle itself. These ones are the thought leaders in the community.
Whatever your Oracle ACE membership level, you’ll enjoy the promotion and recognition.
How to Become an Oracle ACE Member
To become an Oracle ACE Member, you must be nominated either by yourself or someone else. There’s a form you’ll fill out to submit your nomination.
You can only submit a nomination for the Oracle ACE Associate and Oracle ACE Pro. Oracle Ace Directors must be nominated by other members.
But the nomination would be in vain if there’s no record that you have been contributing to the Oracle Community.
How Do You Contribute to the Oracle Community?
To contribute to the Oracle Community is easy, and you can start today. Contribute to the Oracle Community by writing blog posts or books, giving presentations, sharing knowledge on social media, or answering questions about Oracle on online forums. As long as the information you’re sharing is about Oracle and it is solving people’s problems, you can be recognized as an Oracle ACE.

Obviously, for you to be able to share such knowledge, it means you must be technically proficient in your area of expertise within the Oracle database.
People who organize conferences and meetups or volunteer in Oracle leadership positions in Oracle User Groups can also be bestowed Oracle ACE membership. As long as you are contributing in one way or another to the Oracle Community, you can become an Oracle ACE.
You can always share and contribute in your personal time.
How to Know if Your Nomination Has Been Approved
If your Oracle ACE membership is approved, you’ll receive an email. So keep an eye out. The review process usually takes a while, though, even up to ten weeks.
If your nomination is declined, only the person who nominated you will receive an email about it. So, ask them to keep an eye out for you.
Final Words
Remember that the Oracle ACE membership is not permanent but is subject to your consistency in contributing to the community. So, even as a member, your membership may be revoked after 12 months if you do not continue being relevant. If you do continue contributing, you will continue receiving the recognition for subsequent years.
